Dr. Trisha Metz graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
Since graduating she has worked in companion animal medicine at a few locations in Middle Tennessee. While she has practiced on all kinds of animals; cats, dogs, exotics and zoo animals, her primary focus remains in internal medicine, surgery, and dermatology of companion animals.
Dr. Metz and her husband are college sweethearts, both being raised right here in Spring Hill, Tennessee. They have two sons and a daughter, but the house is run by their small 4-legged Frenchie, Tilda Blu! Also residing at the Metz home are their two tortoises, Spike and Spark. Most of her free time is spent taxying her children around to all corners of the world for baseball, basketball, football, ballet and gymnastics, but she wouldn't have it any other way! When she does have some free time she enjoys painting, furniture making, home improvements, photography, swimming, traveling (especially to the beach), campfires and hosting BBQs for family and friends.
